UPDATE!

Hey guys!

I wanted to make a little post just to mention a few things. First things first, my trip to Bahrain has been postponed until later in the year due to a high level terror threat, and for safety purposes, it's not safe for 15 Brits to head out there at this time. Therefore, the packing series of posts will also be postponed until I actually go somewhere, as it's silly for me to write a post about something that's not actually happening.

I'm not going to lie to you guys, I am absolutely devastated. I know that sounds dramatic, but this week has been incredibly stressful for my family and I, and this just seems like the icing on the cake. And on a day when the world thinks of those effected by the 7/7 terrorist attacks in London 10 years ago, today is not only a sad day for me, but for the rest of the country also.

I was going to just delete my previous post on planning for packing and then re-upload it when I finally go away, but I don't know if there's any point in that? Let me know down below if you think I should or not.

This blog is dedicated to my lifestyle, which means that some days are going to be better than others. As I'm having a particularly bad week this week, I wanted to post about it. This is in no way a post to make anyone feel bad, it's more a post for me to just vent my feelings, because life isn't always so positive and happy. And I wanted to let you guys know, because I know a few of you reading were just as excited about my trip as I was, so of course, I wanted to be honest with you all and tell you what was going on.

This isn't the first time something like this has happened; something similar happened a year ago when we were supposed to go to Egypt and do Snow White there, but it got cancelled at the last minute. Meaning that all of our cast and crew were then without a job or income for that month, and those who had turned down work to do the show were in a very vulnerable state. You'd think by now I'd be used to it, as it's just the way it works out in the Middle East, but it brings new frustration and anger every time.

However, I am not going to dwell on it. I got over it a year ago, and I'll get over it this time too. The only issue was the money, as I am currently overdrawn, and need some money to pay the bills! But I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason. Obviously, it's not safe for us to travel at this time, which I respect immensely. And who knows? Something better may come along!

Funnily enough, there were a lot of things I would've been missing if I had gone to Bahrain. For example, my best friend Tori's birthday, auditions for a summer workshop of the musical Cats with one of the best theatre groups ever, and my other best friend Amy's house-warming party! Also, my dance school's triumphs at the All England Dance Finals in London at the end of the month! Although I'll be missing out on money, doing what I love and a somewhat holiday abroad, I'll get to spend more time with the people that matter the most to me! And you know what they say: money doesn't buy happiness.

(Unless you desperately need it...like I do...but we won't think about that right now!)

I've had a good cry about the negative things that have happened this week, I've let it all out in this blog post. Now, it's time to move forward! Posts may become a bit sporadic this month, as like I said, life has been a bit stressful! But that's what this blog is all about! It isn't called "Life According To Fawce (but only the happy bits!)". This is my life, this is what it's all about. And like I said in previous posts, I try to stay positive as much as I can, but sometimes life can be very unfair and you need to have a little bit of time to recover. Which is what I'm doing today.

This blog is very important to me, and it's what keeps me positive during times like this! And I hope you guys understand. You all mean a lot to me, and I'm incredibly grateful to my followers for being so lovely and positive. (Even if there are so few of you, you may be tiny, but you are mighty!). Hopefully next week will be a bit brighter, and it'll all work out!

So much love for you all reading! And I will see you guys next time!

Fawce xoxo.
